The location was amazing, just steps away from the water and ferry station. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. It was a peaceful and quiet hostel, perfect for relaxation. The rooms were clean and spacious, with decent showers and hot water. The beach and several restaurants were right on our doorstep. Great value for money, I would definitely stay here again.

Great location just a stone's throw from the water and ferry station. The staff were friendly and always willing to help out. The hostel itself was quiet, perfect for when you needed some peace and quiet to relax. The value for money was excellent, making it a worthwhile place to stay.
The wifi on the second floor was a bit weak, so I had to go to the first floor to get better reception. It would have been nice if they served food throughout the day, as sometimes you just want a bite to eat outside of the regular meal times.

The room at La Obrera was perfect for me! It had a big comfy bed, a nice work table where I could set up my laptop, and a TV to watch my favorite shows. The bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. I also loved having free WiFi and a safe for my valuables. It felt like a home away from home.
I wasn't a big fan of the washbasin in the bathroom. It was a bit small for my liking, but that's just my personal opinion.

I recently stayed at a hotel in Santiago De La Ribera for a few days, and my experience at La Obrera was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, with reliable hot water in the showers. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always available for a chat or to provide local knowledge. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, right on the beachfront with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, the main street with even more restaurants is just a short walk away. For the price I paid, it was definitely great value for money.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

Title: Wonderful Family Retreat by the Mar Menor
For dads, it would be great if the hotel offered a dedicated play area for children.

I absolutely loved the decoration at this little gem in Santiago De La Ribera. The hotel had such a charming and cozy atmosphere, with beautiful traditional touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas were always impeccably clean and well-maintained, making it easy for me to navigate around the hotel. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible everything was, from the comfortable seating areas to the well-lit hallways. It made my stay comfortable and convenient, allowing me to fully enjoy my vacation.
One thing I would have loved to see at this hotel is some assistance tailored specifically to senior people. As lovely as the children working there were, I would have appreciated if they could have offered some extra help or services that catered to the needs of older guests.

No hairdryer? Come on, people, it's the 21st century!

For the price we paid, it was as we expected. the beach was just around the corner, which had a wow factor. the owner was kind enough to not charge us for one breakfast. the staff were nice, friendly, and helpful. the rooms were clean and made up daily. the location was great, with a five-minute walk to the beachfront. It was great value for the money.
Felt totally relaxed, nothing to complain about.
